We are looking for the following positions:

Various - All Stores

This front-line position contributes to the coordinated efforts of preparing and presenting a high quality, Aladdin Coffee shopping experience to all our customers.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

- Fluently bilingual (English and French)

- Provide superior customer service to all in the spirit of Aladdin Coffee’s mission statement

- Welcome, greet customers and offer assistance as needed

- Handle customer complaints according to Aladdin Coffee’s policies

- Stock display counters or shelves in keeping with high standards of presentation and ensure that the counters are fully stocked, organized, and properly culled at all times

- Ensure that the product is identified by a clean sign stating correct description and price

- Ensure proper stock rotation of all assigned items in the department and ensure excellent quality and value of all merchandise

- Keep the work and storage areas clean and safe at all times and keep the retail area faultless by keeping counters, display glass and equipment immaculate and performing general “housekeeping” as required

- Work as a team member lending support and assistance to fellow employees

- Assist in the performance of inventory-taking and recommend, when appropriate, the ordering of merchandise and supplies to the Manager

- Comply with all health and safety standards and procedures, especially as they relate to equipment use and customer safety

- Accept the responsibility for designated opening and closing procedures as may be directed by the Manager

- Assist and relieve other members as may be requested by the Manager or designate

Supervisors - All Stores

The following skill sets are required for this position:

· fluently bilingual

· minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in the retail food industry

· demonstrated leadership abilities

· superior quality and customer service standards

· willingness to work some evenings and week-ends

· excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills

· good knowledge of the department's operations, procedures and equipment

· ability to learn automated system/tools

Store Managers & Assistant Store Managers - All Stores

Directly responsible for coordinating, developing, and leading employees where the main focus is to drive profit through sales and ensure customer satisfaction through proper presentation of merchandise and effective customer service in all areas of the store.

The following skill sets are required for this position:

· fluently bilingual

· superior customer service standards

· a general knowledge of point-of-sale and spreadsheet software and PC platforms

· excellent organizational, time management and analytical skills

· excellent team building and team participation skills

· good communication and selling skills

· ability to recruit, train and develop staff

· strong merchandising and visual presentation skills

· successful completion of post secondary training shall be considered assets

· minimum of 3 years management and/or retail food store experience

· supervisory or managerial experience

· willingness to work some evenings and week-ends
