Formosa Jade Oolong Tea
Growing in an altitude of about 6000 feet in the Tung Ting Mountains of Taiwan, this green-golden tea is just slightly fermented and brews to offer excellent sweet peach notes.
Oolong tea spans the entire range of fermentation and contains medium levels of caffeine. Oolongs are known for their complex flavours, often with fruity or floral accents which leave no tea lovers indifferent. Oolongs can appear as tightly curled balls, or as voluminous twisting leaves.
Use 1½ tsp of tea per 235mL of hot water (90°C) and steep for 2 to 3 minutes.
Properties of Oolong Tea:
• Offers the same benefits as green tea
• A natural source of minerals and vitamins A, B, C and E
• Digestive properties, slimming, calming and anti-fatigue
• Fight against water retention and cellulite
